About the Event
DharmaDen brings you their May features- Rhea Makiaris and Anthony Frijia! Come be a part of the live-recorded experience.
Anthony Frijia is a Folk-Americana songwriter from Maryland, who has spent the last few years living and touring in several areas of the country. Fresh off the release of his nostalgic solo record, “Nomad Sound”, Frijia hit the road again to tour the country in his van as a one-man-band, and has most recently made his way down the coast from Oregon to San Diego.
Upon returning home from tour, Anthony plans to stay home in Maryland for a while and get to work on his next record, with an emphasis on collaborating with other songwriters.
Rhea Makiaris is an East Coast bred, West Coast raised musical sensation. With a natural ear for music and knack for picking up instruments, she is a self-taught riot of a minstrel with a honey voice. Rhea transports her listeners back to a golden age of music, when all a performer needed to entertain was a guitar and an exceptional voice.
Also an American Sign Language professional, Makiaris employs her compassionate, ebullient sense of humor to process personal heartbreak through an old-school soul filter, now with an increasing desire to use her music to serve and bring joy to others during these difficult times.
