About the Event
"Born in Alberta, Canada, Evan Diamond moved to the United States to pursue music. Her music is a confluence of musical styles, from singer-songwriter and pop through indie and rock; The result is a boisterous and powerful alt-pop sound drawing influences from the likes of Metric, The 1975, Charly Bliss, Phoebe Bridgers, and Sylvan Esso. The San Diego Music Award (SDMA) winning artist has played stages such as KAABOO, Coachella,, Petco Stadium, and the Casbah and she is excited to be adding to the evolving pop landscape with her second record, “Why Don’t You Sit Down” available now!"
"Lee Coulter is a singer-songwriter and music producer whose folk and soul infused pop music began as a guiding light out of the shadows of multigenerational trauma. Born in Australia to a Ray-Charles-loving-Vietnam-war-veteran father and a 60s-rock-guitarist Indonesian mother who survived an Allied supported genocide in her hometown in 1965, bridging the gap between reality, mental health issues and cultural conditioning became Coulter's subconscious musical and life journey. As a self taught musical child Coulter elevated his complicated reality by performing in a folk duo with his brother, a grunge band with his mates, an R&B band with his high-school sweetheart and he taught himself how to record on an old PC helping him win a few local songwriting competitions as a teen. At age 22 he relocated to the US where his uplifting songs, shows and DIY recordings have earned him a following in his home town of San Diego over almost two decades, balancing life as a father and an artist-for-hire around Southern California, periodically doing shows around the U.S. and releasing new music online to refuel the connection."
