About the Event

This fun, interactive workshop will cover practical skills to support your ethical non-monogamy (ENM) journey, as well as providing opportunities to meet other ENM folks and grow your ENM community. All ages, genders, and ENM styles (poly, open, swinging, etc.) are welcome! Come by yourself or with your partner(s). You’ll be invited to explore your relationship values, attachment style, emotions like jealousy and compersion, and emotion management skills, along with special topics including kink, queerness, and parenting. Whether you have years of experience in ENM partnerships, are new to the ENM lifestyle, or are simply curious, you’ll learn research-supported strategies that will be useful in all your relationships - and you’ll meet some great people who share your values and lifestyle.

ABOUT THE FACILITATORS

Dr. Chandra Khalifian and Dr. Kayla Knopp are clinical psychologists, researchers, and educators. They are Assistant Professors at the University of California, San Diego/Veteran Affairs Consortium where they focus on developing and evaluating couple-based interventions for relationship distress and mental health, including enhancement of evidence-based treatments with psychedelics.

They also co-direct a private practice where they work with people in relationships and specialize in non-monogamy, sexual issues and diverse sexual interests, and psychedelic assisted therapy. They have completed several psychedelic and psychopharmacotherapy training programs including the MAPS MDMA-assisted therapy program.

They present their work at conferences throughout the country and are available for workshops and trainings focused on sexuality, communication, and the interplay between mental health and relationship functioning.
