Urban Beats Presents DJ Nyack

The Urban Beats cultural movement is back in San Diego on September 18th, it is time to celebrate the DJ culture again.

We have the honor to announce the return of our party. It will be a day to remember and we're going to have a special guest straight from Brazil.

Fernando Carmo da Silva A.K.A DJ Nyack is a DJ in the Hip Hop scene since 2003, when he fell in love with Djing. At that time he was only 14 years old. In 2007, Nyack became the official DJ of the Brazilian rapper Emicida and, since then, he started traveling around Brazil and the World showing ability as DJ and music researcher. Once he’s known as a guy who digs deep until he finds the sound that he’s looking for. Over the years of his career he opened concerts for big names of the black music such as Lauryn Hill and Erykah Badu and hyped festivals like Coachella and South by Southcoast.

In 2018 he was a guest on the radio show “Adventures in Stereo” hosted by J. Rocc. DJ Nyack is in front of many other projects like the party called “Discopédia” that he’s co-founder with DJ Dan Dan and DJ Marco (Criolo).

Urban Beats #6 will also bring our house Djs, Pedrada, Rime, Ricky Clash and Beau Selector.

We have more good news for you! For the first time our party will be at a new location. The Template is an artistic and exotic space located in the heart of Ocean Beach that will host our event.
