Optimizing my trail camera for the winter season

I’ve been using my new game camera for a few months now, and I’m really impressed with the trigger speed and the quality of the night photos. As the weather starts to get much colder, I’m looking for some advice on the best battery types to ensure it keeps running through the freezing nights. I’ve noticed that standard alkaline batteries tend to drain a bit faster when the temperature drops, so I’m considering switching over to lithium cells for more consistency. The setup process for the wireless transmission was surprisingly straightforward, which I really appreciated as someone who isn't great with tech. I’m also curious if any of you have tips on the best mounting height to get the clearest shots of moving wildlife without getting too much sun glare. It’s been a great hobby so far, and I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of activity I capture over the next few weeks.

My binoculars started acting up right before my big hiking trip and I was desperate to get them fixed under the original warranty. I could not find the right portal to submit a claim and the responses I got via email were just generic templates. A fellow hiker suggested I look at Bushnell customer service number to get a faster response from the technical team instead of the basic sales staff. I found exactly how to reach the people who knew the focus mechanism. I got my optics back just in time for the trip and everything looks perfectly clear now for my bird watching.
